My Mother: A True Story

In light of Mother's Day this weekend, I decided I would give our mothers in my classroom something special: a story about themselves. In my opinion, this is more memorable then just a card that says "I love you mom!" No offense. But the answers I got were just awesome, so I thought I'd share some:

Q: My mom is ______ years old.
A: 11, 18, 20, 32, 50, 70, 100!

Q: Her favorite food is...
A: Macaroni, corn, salad, cakes, tacos, spaghetti, bananas, sandwiches, chicken nuggets, pasta salad, chocolate, ice cream

Q: She loves to shop at...
A: HEB (So popular), Pier 1, Target, her friend's house!

Q: My mom is happy when...
A: She spends time with me, I snuggle with her, I am nice to my brother/sister, I listen, she sees me do a flip, I clean my room, I eat all my food, I give her flowers for her birthday, she takes the dog for a walk

Q: She really likes to...
A: Feed my brother, play with me, shop, study, paint the kitchen walls, stay home all day, play with Barbies, look at stuff when I want to go home

Q: My mom always forgets to...
A: Take me to school, play with me, have fun, wear her ring, eat, sell the blue trash can, put something in the soup, bring my lunchbox to school, go to work, she never forgets anything!

Q: My mom loves when I...
A: Don't wake my brother up, kiss her, go to sleep, stay home with her, collect acorns, ride bikes with her, say she is the bestest mom in the world, help her do everything, take a bath and don't cry when I wash my hair

Q: The best thing my mom cooks is...
A: Waffles, meatloaf, meat, pasta, hot sauce, cinnamon rolls, mashed potatoes, vegetables, chicken nuggets, ice cream, macaroni

Q: If my mom could travel anywhere, she would go to...
A: The beach, Hawaii, Kansas, London, California, the space center, Mexico, a store, the zoo, Houston, her mom and dad's house, Disney World, Walmart

Q: My favorite thing about my mom is...
A: She can do anything, she takes me to Dollar General to get candy, she lets me sleep in your bed, she's really sweet, she's always happy, she's helpful, she picks me up from school, she brushes my hair

Q: I love my mom because...
A: She takes me to the park after school, she gives good hugs, she helps me learn things, she takes care of me, she buys me shoes, she loves me, she's nice to me, she lets me play wall ball in the house, she helps me, she is the prettiest girl in the world
